Denver, CO. (January 25, 2011) – iModerate Research Technologies, a leading online qualitative research firm, recently hired Steve Auerbach as Vice President of Sales, West and David Baron as Vice President of Sales, East.

Steve Auerbach has 17 years of experience in the market research industry. Prior to iModerate, Steve had two stints at Gartner, an information technology, research and advisory company. Most recently his role there was to provide clients in higher education and academic medical centers with both primary and secondary research as a Senior Account Executive.

Preceding his time at Gartner, Steve was at International Data Corporation, a premier provider of market intelligence, advisory services and events. In his 10 years at IDC he climbed the ladder from Account Executive to Director of Global Accounts, and was ultimately responsible for growing the syndicated IT market research and consulting business within large enterprise accounts.

David Baron has been in business development and management in the technology industry since 1996. Prior to iModerate, David was responsible for sales at IDG Connect, a direct marketing group that features lead generation services and access to a multi-million name database of IT buyers. Previously, David worked as Director of Sales at Ziff Davis’ Web Buyer’s Guide where he both managed the sales team and provided online lead generation consulting services for both IT vendors and agencies.
