The Market Research Event is North America’s signature research conference. This year’s event in Nashville will only serve to strengthen that assertion, with keynotes such as Malcolm Gladwell, Daniel Pink and Joan Lewis, multiple award ceremonies and nine educational tracks.
The bar is high. And in our quest to give attendees something interesting, educational and different at the event we’re teaming up with the largest privately-funded nonprofit in the world (and one of our favorite clients), United Way Worldwide.
On October 23rd at 1:45 p.m.*, we invite you to join us for our session: Lessons from United Way: Empowering 55,000 women through research. Attendees will be introduced to the United Way’s Women’s Leadership Council (WLC), a network of more than 55,000 members in 140 communities who have raised more than 1 billion dollars in the last 12 years. The WLC’s continued success is in part fueled by understanding what motivates women to give their time and financial resources. Research drives this understanding, and the United Way’s Women Study plays a large role.
Julia Raether and Kristin Thomsen from UWW and Christy Tchoumba from iModerate will give attendees an insider look at a research initiative designed to provide insight into the Council’s target segments, unearth what drives women to get involved, and the tactics by which they wish to communicate. Over the course of the session we’ll cover how United Way used the insight to hone their engagement strategy, shed light on why women are such a valuable philanthropic commodity, and explain how the findings can help you build awareness and involvement around your organization’s mission.
We hope to see you in Nashville. For attendees looking for more information about the presentation please stop by our booth, #317. Not registered yet? Contact us for your discount code.*Time of presentation subject to change. Please check on-site agenda for confirmed time slot.
